December 1 – Woodland Window Box

Create a handsome Evergreen Decorative in a hand-crafted wooden barn-board window box (approx 26″ length) – suitable for outdoor or indoor display.

You’ll weave pine, cedar, noble fir and such with woodland twigs – add a nest with quail eggs for a picture worthy Evergreen show piece !

Fee includes all your materials, the window box, a scrumptious lunch & instruction


December 2 – A Downton Abbey Christmas

In an authentic 1920’s Pressed-glass Compote (yes, you keep this antique to take home!)
you will design a beautiful display of evergreens, rosehips, pomegranates, antique garden
roses and other gorgeous fresh cut flowers, to create a beautiful holiday decorative worthy of a Downton Abbey Set. This is designed to be freshened up over the festive season as the flowers tire – we will share with you a few of our secret tricks!

December 5 – Evergreen Christmas Wreath

You’ll design a handmade wreath of Evergreens, berries, pinecones & other cool stuff, on a metal hoop! This is one we are very excited about – and cannot wait to show you this technique!  A festive look that is terrific hung on a door OR set as a table circle with pillar candles inside! 



December 8 – Worth Repeating Two Table Top Urns

This one is so beautiful that it is worth repeating! You will be making two!

First up – select from our variety of hand-crafted stone table-top containers by one of our favourite local artists. In the new year you can transform the arrangement in this container into a spring planter!

Next you’ll start “greening them up” (The trick is to make them match like twins.) You’ll be adding beautiful roses, pinecones, rosehips and other gorgeous flowers.

These handcrafted stone urns make for Charming holiday decor for your Christmas dining table, on top of your fireplace mantle, or as hostess gifts during the holidays.


December 9 – Evergreen Mantel Spray

Imagine how gorgeous your home will be for the Holiday Season!

One of our best-selling items at Christmas time – when we make them for delivery – they start at $295 – so this is quite a savings when you make it yourself!

You will be creating your own gorgeous mantlepiece. First up is gorgeous greenery – all of the season’s best !
Then, decorate your work of art with pomegranates, antique garden roses, berries, pinecones and the like!
This is made cleverly in a hidden water source so it can stay fresh well into the new year (although you may need to freshen up the roses).


December 12 – Evergreen Helene Dreams

We’ve commissioned a local artist to create a beautiful French reproduction stone bust which makes such an impressive statement and timeless addition to your home. We’ll create a beautiful design using mixed evergreens, fresh flowers & berries, pinecones and more!

Come spring, she looks beautiful filled with potted plants or herbs!



December 15 – Evergreen Silver or Gold Compote

Set in your choice of a beautiful silver or gold mercury glass compote, you will learn how to “green up” your compote – ever so artistically ! We will be using a mixture of the seaon’s best greenery – for lots of great texture! Then, you’ll be adding beautiful roses, pinecones, rosehips and other gorgeous flowers.


December 16 – White Christmas Trio

They say the best things always comes in threes, including our White Christmas Trio Workshop! You’ll design – not one, not two, but three adorable festive decoratives in vintage milk glass containers. Friday, February 22 from 6pm – 7:30pm
Day 1: Welcome Happy Hour Reception

After your pretty drive up our country laneway, you’ll be greeted on the front porch with prosecco! We will start by kicking off the weekend with a ‘Happy Hour’ welcome reception on Friday evening and enjoy a beautiful charcuterie board. We will tour the French Peasant Gardens & our Stone Cottage Studio, review the weekend programme and share introductions.

Those who choose to take advantage of overnight accommodations, can then make their way over to check-in for their weekend stay.

Saturday, February 23: 10am – 4pm ish
Day 2: Fashion Bouquets, Large Scale Arrangements, Garlands & More

Enter Saturday morning. Who said Mimosa? Yes please! Then roll up you’re sleeves, time to rock & roll! We will be hunting and gathering flowers and foliage in the garden and the beautiful countryside – so dress for outdoors. Next up – no sense waiting – let’s get right in there – let’s start creating beautiful fashion bouquets – the kind you see in Wedding Bells Magazine! (Did you see us on the cover of their Spring issue? These bouquets are REALLY special – and sell for $195+ each!)

Lunch will include a menu inspired by fresh herbs and savoury sweets from the garden. Feel welcome to quiz Elaine on ideas for culinary herbs! Be prepared to forage – we might ask you to grab some herbs from our potted gardens from indoors and outside.

After lunch, another treat! We will be designing a stunning arrangement in one of our beautiful Hand-crafted Stone French Reproduction Garden Urns – made by one of our local artists. Your’s to keep & enjoy for years to come!

Wait there’s more – you’ll learn to design one of our most popular pieces – our hand-woven garlands, designed to dry!

Sunday, February 24: 10am – 4pm ish
Day 3: Installation, Photo Session & Wrap up & Happy Hour with Friends

Sunday we will welcome the day with a group Brunch – fuel for a busy day! Saturday was spent designing our beautiful florals – Sunday we will learn all about installation!

First up, let’s talk about one of the hottest trends of the year – large scale installation! Out in the garden, we will style a beautiful French Oblesik, pergola, and arbour – making the perfect backdrops for magical ceremonies!

We’ll then move on to design a gorgeous French Hedge, a very impressive way to line a ceremony aisle.

Let’s get the ladder out, and you’ll install an impressive focal point from our Pergola, hanging roses & a floral chandelier! Get those cameras ready!

After lunch break, we’ll make sure everything is just right…. and welcome a professional photographer to join us and take photos of you & your designs, completely Instagram-worthy or perfect to add to your portfolio!

We’ll end the weekend with a Wrap Up & Happy Hour in the Garden at 4pm, be sure to invite your Friends & Family to show off all your hard work.

We’ll send you home with a Certificate of Completion and memories that will last a lifetime! (And of course, take home all the beautiful florals you created!)
