Certificate Classes

Do you love flowers & gardens? Have you ever wondered about a career change? Are you planning a DIY Wedding or creating a garden from scratch?

This is a great (& affordable) opportunity to learn from one the country’s top floral and gardening designers in an drop-dead-gorgeous setting – a century old stone cottage studio on the outskirts of Galt’s charming downtown core in Cambridge, Ontario.

Over the course of six weeks, Elaine Martin, our celebrated Floral Designer Extraordinaire, will share with you her best-kept secrets and experience gleaned from over thirty years in the industry and four generations of gardeners.
Elaine’s passion for all things flowers, career the fashion business (working in the House of Dior in Paris in the 80s’), and hosting a television show on gardening and the floral arts in the 90’s (aired 8x/week on Life Network, now HGTV), makes her a unique and highly sought after teacher, life coach, public speaker and entertainer! You may have seen her work in North America’s best Home Decor magazines.

Each evening will include refreshments & end with a casual chat so you can ask Elaine all those burning questions (she is not afraid to share – in fact many of her interns have gone on to create successful businesses of their own!)

Certificate Classes classes will be offered a few times throughout the year, so you can take all six in a row (over six weeks) or pick up the ones you’ve missed further along the year.
